She now regrets that her feeling of independence has been taken from her, but she wanted to help her brother. Mentions that Prof. Stuart and "his Lady" came to visit en route to New Haven and spent the night with them. Third page difficult to read because an extra paragraph has been superimposed vertically upon the initial horizontal writing.
