N-1 1780, Aug. 21 Brief note to William Robinson from Ezra Stiles, President of Yale College: "I would readily supply Mr. Robinson, but the difficulty of being absent from the Chapel on Sundays and the accumulation of college business necessitates me to excuse myself" [i.e., he could not preach for Robinson].
