A-3 1819, April 20 Lease. Between E. R. and James Height in consideration of $50 rent for land, house and barn. E. R. will pay all taxes and furnish manure for the garden, will permit the picking of apples on the first row of trees, and if Height works for him, will apply that labor against the rent owed. A-3 1819, April 17 Lease negotiated in the presence of Samuel Farr between Gershom Wood and "the heirs of Samuel Kirkland for all the cleared land on the tract lying in Westmoreland between the parsonage lot (so called) and the land deeded by Samuel Kirkland to Roderick Morrison" for $15 payable either in stock or money. He further agrees to leave all fences in good repair. E. R. notes that $15 was received in full payment of the rent on 28 May 1819.
A-2 1813, Dec. 14 Receipt of rent due for 1812 and 1813 from Josiah Simonds, signed by John T. Kirkland, attorney for his sister, Eliza, who is the "Assignee of the Lessor."

A-3 1819, May 17 Lease. Between Mary Kirkland and E. R. for "the one undivided half of all the lands and appurtenances, excepting the mansion house, which were devised by the late Samuel Kirkland in his last will & testament" for which E. R. agrees to pay $150 annual rent beginning from the 1st of April 1820. Enclosed in this agreement was a slip of paper dated 17 May 1820 and signed by Mary Kirkland for receipt of $150 for the rent.
