A-3 1819, April 17 Lease negotiated in the presence of Samuel Farr between Gershom Wood and "the heirs of Samuel Kirkland for all the cleared land on the tract lying in Westmoreland between the parsonage lot (so called) and the land deeded by Samuel Kirkland to Roderick Morrison" for $15 payable either in stock or money. He further agrees to leave all fences in good repair. E. R. notes that $15 was received in full payment of the rent on 28 May 1819.
